Oh hello you!
What a month it has been! And wow oh wow, hasn't winter arrived very promptly in Melbourne!? I feel like I haven't felt it this cold in so long (probably because we were locked up inside for the last two winters and forgot what it feels like lol).
In bloody great news though, I can't believe we ACTUALLY have a new PM!!! A record number of Greens seats, the most women in parliament, lots more Independentsand most importantly, we kicked out the the old GOV! What all this has shown is that Aussies were fed up. I don't believe any government with solve all of our problems, but my gosh doesn't it make a difference when the person who's standing up as the leader of our country actually seems like a decent bloke with empathy and care!? WhenAlbo met with some other world leaders in Tokyo to chat climate change, just a few days into his Prime Ministership, I actually got really emotional. To actually hear the leader of our country TALK about Climate Change as if it was a real issue, was incredible. There's always more to be done, but hope has been restored.
It's been a great month of client work in the studio, currently working on 2 website redesigns and supporting other clients through my retainer services.
And if you didn't hear (well you must be living under a rock), I AM THiRSTY is now in selected Woolworths stores across NSW!!! I'm so damn proud of Mads and the journey she has been on over the past 18 months.I’ve never seen someone works as hard as Maddie. And oh boy, has all of her bloody hard work paid off. I’m so incredibly grateful to have been along for this ride and I cannot thank Mads enough for believing in me to bring her vision for THiRSTY to life and continuing to be one of the biggest supporters of mine to this day. 🍑🍐🍋🍓🍍

You may have heard me talk about this podcast episode on Instagram last week. But my GOSH was it a goodie! I had to listen to it twice so I could write down all of the golden nuggets of wisdom Darnell told us.
Darnell's journey really resonated with me ashe too "hired himself" (him during the GFC, me during the pandemic) because no one else would. Histake on failure was also super refreshing, viewing multiplefailures as a good thing because it means you haven't been afraid to try lots of things.Overall, the ep was very inspiring and motivating. It made me feel really hopeful and excited!
If they haven't already landed for you, you would have at leastheard about theincoming changes to your Instagram account, which will be prioritising full screen video content. Gone are the days of a single static image post!It seems that reels will be top priority, but carousel posts will still make their way into the feed.
I'm not gonna lie, I freaked out a bit when I heard about these changes, but whether we oppose or love thesechanges, we have to embrace them, because it's the way that socials are moving!!
To help me feel way less lost, I joined @cinema_thom's membership The Trend Tea where CT curates all the latest IG and TikTok trends into a Weekly Cheat Sheet to make creating reels WAY easier! Creating video content definitely takes more time, energy and creativity, but with this The Trend Tea's weekly cheat sheet, I have no excuses not to create more video content!
